Earlier this summer we partnered with Blackrock Industries to print and install a wall graphic outside of the newest Amazon building in downtown Seattle. Blackrock is a Seattle company that crafts visual thematic experiences for restaurants and retail spaces. They specialize in custom interior and exterior design and production. Their handy work can be seen in spaces all over the city.
We have partnered with Blackrock many times over the years on numerous projects, which has always resulted in some fantastic work.
“AlphaGraphics has time and again been an invaluable partner on our projects. Their staff is courteous, professional, and motivated to find a solution regardless of the typical roadblocks that can spring up during signage and banner production.”
— Konrad Kruszewski, Blackrock Industries
This particular graphic was printed in our large-format print shop and stands nine feet tall and 75 feet long. It consisted of 18 individual 50” wide panels. During the install we first had to remove the existing graphic before applying the new graphic to the plywood wall. It was printed on Arlon DPF 8000 High Track Vinyl, which not only looks great, but also features an air release extreme adhesive, perfect for securing graphics to rough outdoor surfaces (plywood, brick, cement, etc.).
You can’t see the graphic in person anymore because it was removed in early August 2016. However, through the photos you can get a good sense of how the project turned out.
