The new Jimi Hendrix exhibit at the Northwest African American Museum is now open. We are happy to have played a major role in bringing it together.
The exhibit, Bold as Love: Jimi Hendrix at Home, opened on November 27th (on Jimi’s birthday) and it runs through May 5th.
The exhibit has been getting quite a bit of coverage from the press. Here is a some coverage of the exhibit opening day from King 5 news.
We printed and installed a large portion of the graphics on display at the exhibit. Along the way, our team worked with the client’s designer to make sure all the pieces were print ready. We also coordinated with an outside installation vendor who contributed to setting up the display cases.
It was a challenging project. We produced and installed more than 70 individual print pieces —everything from large wall graphics, to small display case signs. Each section had to be meticulously planned and executed to specifications. A lot of time and effort went into this from multiple parties. In the end, the project was a huge success. It is hard to argue with these kinds of results.
You should definitely go check out the exhibit in person sometime in the next few months. You will not be disappointed.
