There is nothing quite like holding a printed invitation in your hand. Recently we worked with Capital Pacific to print invitations for their upcoming CP Exchange event.
The Invitation Package
This well thought out invitation design incorporates a variety of print enhancements that make it stand out. It has two parts, the envelope and the invitation insert.
The Envelope
The custom die cut envelope features two of our favorite print enhancements, soft touch laminate and Radiant Texture digital spot UV (printed on our Scodix press). On the front and back, Radiant Texture covers the text. It adds a nice gloss effect that can be seen and felt with your fingertips. The bottle shaped die cut hole cleverly reveals the event date printed on the insert. It is no doubt a visual reference to the “something new is brewing” tagline.
The Insert
The insert is printed on a Kraft cover stock. It is sturdy and has plenty of textured visual appeal. The white ink contrasts with the colored paper without overshadowing the subtle texture.
The finished invitation is a sight to be seen. It immediately grabs your attention. If you receive one of these invitations in the mail, it would be difficult to decline.
