We recently worked on this “word wall” office graphic for FranConnect, a franchise management software company based out of Herndon, Virginia. It’s an interesting project that involved a tight timeline, multiple elements, and extensive collaboration with our vendor partners.
The two main elements are the large background graphic that covers the length of the wall, and the custom 3D acrylic letter graphics (x4) mounted on the wall over the top of the graphic.
We printed the graphic which featured “place holder” text for the 3D lettering. This was to help position the actual 3D letters during the installation process.
The adhesive vinyl graphic is 293” x 126” and split into six panels.
We do have the capability to make acrylic 3D lettering in house, however, this particular project required the letters to be painted which is not something we normally do. So we enlisted the help of our trusted vendor partner Gemini to manufacture the letters.
The final part of this project was the installation. Since the FranConnect office is located in Virginia, we coordinated with The M Group to handle the installation. We shipped the vinyl graphic and the 3D letters to Virginia, where The M Group completed the installation. They did a fantastic job.
The whole project — printing, 3D letter manufacturing, shipping, and installation — took less than 10 days to complete. The client was amazed that we could turn it around so quickly. We take great pride in how quickly we are able to consistently move.
The project was a huge success. The FranConnect CEO has mentioned many times how this room is by far his favorite space in the office.
