Dig In: Innovative Waste Solutions
Not only will we tackle waste management via two sessions on Supply Chain Solutions and Turning Waste Into Resources, but we’re thrilled to announce we will also be partnering with Trash Fashion Futures to give you a sneak peek into their full fledged runway show featuring couture apparel made from recycled everyday materials. Stick around after the Main Program for our Networking Reception to see your trash come to life on the runway. We’ll also be serving complimentary beer and wine from Elliott Bay Brewing Co. and Snoqualmie Winery while you mix and mingle with your fellow GoGreeners!
Emerging Leader: Rico Quirindongo
Rico Quirindongo looks at his purpose as an architect a bit differently then some might expect — he puts people first, designing structures that not only serve the needs of the community, but also allow for greater engagement with building systems. That space for engagement also sets the foundation for behavior change and culture shift that comes from emergent systems. In our Emerging Leader Spotlight, Rico tells us how we can make our buildings greener and significantly improve our communities in the process.
